Robyn Harris: Vice President

Jennie Grimes: Secretary

Jennie Grimes is the dance teacher at Canyon View High School and a mother of three. She has been teaching dance at Canyon View since the fall of 2007. Jennie graduated from SUU with a degree in Dance Performance in 2004. She was introduced to dance through gymnastics and in her younger years, she was a competitive gymnast and spent several years teaching gymnastics. She has trained in ballet, modern, jazz, ballroom, tap, you name it. She was on the drill team and the dance company at CEU where she enjoyed her time immensely.

Jennie came to SUU where she had some amazing opportunities to dance, choreograph, learn, and teach. Just prior to coming to CVHS, she taught as an adjunct at SUU. She has also taught at several dance studios through the years and absolutely loves teaching dance.

Matt Adams: Treasurer

Matt has loved performing in different capacities ever since he was a kid growing up in Southern California. In high school he performed in school musicals and competed with the school’s show choir. As a college student, Matt performed for several years with BYU’s International Folk Dancers.

A few years ago, after a decade-long hiatus from musical theater, Matt was cast in a summer production of “The Music Man” in American Fork and rediscovered a passion for theater. He enjoyed the experience so much, he didn’t know why he hadn’t gotten back into doing shows sooner! To make up for lost time, over the following year he went on to do half a dozen productions with several theater groups throughout Salt Lake and Utah Counties.  After moving to Cedar City, Matt and his wife were happy to find an emerging community theater organization and have been involved with CVCT since 2013.

Off stage, Matt teaches mathematics at Southern Utah University and enjoys spending time with his wife and baby boy.
